Family Photo Session on the Zugspitze overlooking Garmisch-Partenkirchen

There are two key factors to making a family photo session on a mountain as high as the Zugspitze fun - making sure everyone is warm and cozy if it’s in the snow, and taking time for the kids to play! You don’t have to tell me twice to bring my sled to ensure this.

When Tanesha walked up with her family looking like they just jumped out of the latest Zara catalogue, I am pretty sure I audibly gasped haha! Photographers lament all the time what a difference styling can make, and this session is such a great example. Warm and neutral colours are so flattering and the pictures turn out so creamy! Her dress is from my client closet, and once mom has an outfit, styling everyone around to compliment her is a lot easier.

The setting up on the Zugspitze is so stunning and unique, overlooking the Alps, even if you’re not a hiker or skier, you’ll fall in love with these views!
