Meadow Family Photo Session in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Melissa and her family flew to Europe all the way from Alaska, and I was so excited to capture some memories for her while they stayed in Garmisch for a few days! Photo sessions with a toddler (her youngest daughter had just turned one) can be quite stressful for parents. Coordinating outfits, making sure baby naps - throw in a ten hour time change to make it extra tricky - packing snacks, toys, you name it… That’s why I love reassuring parents during sessions that I adjust myself to THEIR family and THEIR children, and that does the trick. Your little one wants to take a break to play and explore? We’ll make it happen in a way that’s fun for them. I know it’s easier said than done, but do not stress yourself out during a photo session. I’m there to take over for you and navigate your family. Whether your toddler likes to ride on dad’s shoulders, play peak-a-boo for an eternity, or loves being thrown into the air to give you a good arm workout - when sessions are fun and play-based, and the smiles and giggles will come naturally, and that was the case with Melissa’s family as well. If you have older children you know how fast time flies, and before you know it, your little one year old has turned into a teenager, which makes this session even more special for me!
